- FENIX, museum of migration. The new museum in a former Holland-America Line warehouse, with the spectacular double spiral staircase called the Tornado and a viewing deck.
- ss Rotterdam. The historic steamship moored at the quay, open for guided tours and with beautiful views over the harbour.
- Deliplein. Our own little square, with terraces, small shops and Theater Walhalla for a show.
- Rijnhavenbrug. The long pedestrian bridge across the water, with views of the Rotterdam skyline. A lovely stroll before or after your meal.
Across the water to Kop van Zuid
On the other side of the Rijnhaven lies Kop van Zuid, home to Rotterdam’s best-known buildings. You can walk there across the Rijnhavenbrug, or better still, take the water taxi.
- LantarenVenster. Arthouse cinema and jazz venue on the Wilhelminapier. A film or concert pairs beautifully with a table at our place.
- Hotel New York. The iconic building of the former Holland-America Line, from where emigrants once set sail for America.
- Wilhelminapier. The Cruise Terminal, the De Rotterdam building and the Nieuwe Luxor Theater stand side by side here.
- Erasmusbrug. The Swan, the symbol of the city, within walking or cycling distance.
